We have collected around 10,000 commitments for the HeForShe campaign, UN Women’s solidarity movement for gender equality. Our work was appreciated was Ms. Rebecca Tavares, former representative of UN Women office for India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. Womenite organized the feminist fest – ‘Darpan’ on 10th March 2016 and promoted ‘HeForShe’ and ‘Planet 5050’ to engage men and boys as agents of change for the achievement of gender equality.
